OptiMate 2 is a 12-volt battery charger/maintainer. It is the most cost-effective solution for long-term maintenance of 12V batteries of any vehicle/boat whether stored indoors or outdoors.
OptiMate 2 is weatherproof, very easy to use, just connect it to the battery and plug it into the nearest power outlet, the rest is fully automatic. With constant current at 0.8 A, Optimate 2 automatically and fully charges the battery and then switches to the unique energy-saving trickle charge mode to keep the battery 100% ready without ever overcharging and, at the same time, provides power to the on-board computer, monitor or burglar alarm.
OptiMate 2 is proven to extend battery life by up to 400%; batteries can last 8 years if maintained with OptiMate 2. In order for this to occur, you must always connect OptiMate 2 to the battery when the vehicle is stationary, and OptiMate 2 will keep the battery at 100 percent safely, without overcharging, thanks to its unique 30 min charge and 30 min break cycle for every hour of long-term maintenance charging.
Recommended for STD (with removable filler cap), sealed AGM (absorbed glass mat) and 12 V lead-acid sealed GEL batteries up to 50 Ah, can service even larger batteries (charging will last longer).
