This screw is used on the camshafts of the Aprilia RS660, Tuono 660, and Tuareg 660 to secure the timing chain gear (sprocket). They are pre-treated with thread locker for immediate installation.

Description

This is an M8 thread diameter screw with a button-shaped head and Torx drive. The TORX profile allows for high torque transmission. Thanks to the vertical walls of the drive, additional pressure is not required for tightening, and there is no risk of the insert slipping out. Due to their profile, they are less prone to wear.

Two screws are required to secure the gear to the camshaft.
