Okyami Lithium marks a new style of battery in the motorcycle that is environmentally friendly because it does not pollute. These batteries are made from the new LiFePO4 (Lithium and Iron Phosphate) materials, so they do not contain lead, mercury, and sulfuric acid. The energy density is three times higher than ordinary batteries. Okyami lithium-ion batteries are extremely lightweight compared to lead-acid batteries. With a very low self-discharge rate and no risk of finding your battery sulfated after a long stop, they are ideal for use on motorcycles. For user convenience and easy charge monitoring during long usage stops, Okyami Lithium batteries are all equipped with LED indicator to monitor charge status at any time. Two illuminated LEDs (50% capacity) are sufficient for the vehicle to start properly without the need to charge the battery. Three lit LEDs indicate the optimal charging status.
All Okyami Lithium batteries are equipped with electronic protections, which are necessary to prevent overcharging or over-discharging: in fact, it is essential that the BMS control circuit be able to stabilize charging currents between battery elements.
The life of LiFePO4 batteries can be quantified in thousands of charge-discharge cycles.
