Product Description

With the help of Aprilia Special Parts, the Gabro Racing Team in collaboration with DMZ Engineering has produced this GRT racing airbox kit for the Aprilia RS660 and Tuono 660. This updated version keeps the same race-proven design and performance targets but is now made in two pieces, with a dedicated filter support engineered to hold Sprint Filter PM176S or PM176S F1-85 air filters (not included, sold separately).

The kit has been designed and tested to be reliable under any race conditions throughout the season, offering great performance on both stock and modified engines with Akrapovic and SC-Project exhausts. This new RS660 airbox kit offers 20% more volume downstream of the filter, +2-3 HP across the entire power band, and 40% less weight compared to the stock airbox equipped with a Sprint air filter.

The fuel tank is used as the airbox cover, with the airbox sealing against the tank with an O-ring, maximizing the airbox volume and creating a large air chamber just above the velocity stacks opening, maintaining maximum pressurization in the airbox.

It has an inspectable crankcase breather system and no open vents, as required by racing regulations. It is a completely made-in-Italy kit: built with monolithic 3D printing technology (MJF) in reinforced PA12, ensuring durability, lightness, and precise geometry for easy installation.
