Description of the Ram Air Intake

The stock air intake of the Aprilia RS 660 is not optimized for performance and performs even worse when a racing fairing is installed, as the stock duct does not align with the fiberglass fairing’s air openings. The duct also retains part of the wiring inside and is not airtight, losing any pressurization effect of the compressed air at high speed. Therefore, in collaboration with RacingBike, the Gabro Racing Team has created a more efficient RS660 ram air intake, maximizing the ram-air effect that dynamically pressurizes the airbox.

Who is this product for?

This product is designed for track use and is intended to be mounted on fiberglass fairings. The front wiring needs to be repositioned, and the racing fairing must be modified to allow for the installation of this air intake (cutting template included). If competing in a championship, verify its compliance with technical rules before using this accessory.

The new duct, made from fiberglass, is supported by an extremely lightweight front fairing support, made from laser-cut aluminum sheet, precisely bent, welded, and powder-coated in black. The dashboard and wiring are also mounted on this front subframe. The RS660 ram air intake has been designed to achieve dynamic air intake, and its shape is the result of extensive studies.
