With the help of Aprilia Special Parts, the Gabro Racing Team, in collaboration with DMZ Engineering, produced this GRT airbox kit with lid for the Aprilia RS660 and Tuono 660.

The kit has been designed and tested to be reliable in any racing condition throughout the season, providing excellent performance on both stock and modified engines with Akrapovic and SC-Project exhausts. This updated version keeps the same race-proven concept but is now made in two pieces, with a dedicated filter support specifically engineered to hold Sprint Filter PM176S or PM176S F1-85 air filters (not included, sold separately), instead of the previous foam filter solution.

This Race RS660 airbox with lid offers a 20% increase in volume downstream of the filter, +2-3 HP across the entire power curve, and 40% less weight compared to the stock airbox with a Sprint air filter.

The Evo Race airbox kit with lid is for those using a non stock fuel tank. Otherwise, the version without the lid, which uses the fuel tank as the airbox lid, may suffice.

Product Details

The airbox with lid can be completely removed in seconds, providing access to the throttle bodies, spark plugs, and cylinder head. It includes an inspectable crankcase breather and has no open vents, as required by racing regulations. This kit is completely made in Italy: it is built using monolithic 3D printing technology with reinforced PA12 to ensure durability, combined with lightness and precise, repeatable geometry for maximum ease of installation.

Installation Note: The engine wiring requires a small repositioning, and the removal of the Pair exhaust gas recirculation system and the fuel tank vent system is necessary. These modifications are reversible at any time.
